A new director in an existing fabric and "Port Based Routing Policy"

In an existing SAN with multiple fabrics we are in the process of deploying two new 4/256 directors. The existing fabrics are all 1 or 2Gbp switches with a mix of 2800, 2400 and 3900 models. No other 4Gb switches are present.

Re: A new director in an existing fabric and "Port Based Routing Policy"

I had a similar problem. We have replaced all existing 1 and 2Gb switches with four 4/256 directors last weekend. I'm not sure whether all switches must be disabled, probably the best solution will be to disconnect new directors and make a Default Routing Policy change.Andrej
