8/24 SAN SWITCH

I have an MSA plugged into ports 2,3,6,7 I'm running 11.31  HPUX, when I do an #ioscan -fnC disk the ports are displayed as 16,17,18,19, I have a second

switch with the exact same configuration it is reporting as expected from ioscan 2,3,6,7 why is the first one reporting 16,17,18,19 and what should I do to fix?

thanks,

Dave

Re: 8/24 SAN SWITCH

What's the full H/W path? Do you have an MPIO solution (AUTPATH i believe) installed?

And why would you fix it?

Re: 8/24 SAN SWITCH

Can you check with the SAN switch command "portswapshow" on the CLI if someone has done a port swap?

If so use the command portswap to revert it back.

I hope this helps,

Andreas
