48000 Director Switch, Silkworm CDR-1008 and CDR-1010 Errors

I have a Brocade 48000 Director switch that's reporting the following errors and am not sure how to proceed:

 

2014/08/06-00:03:31, [CDR-1010], 1621671, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, SilkWorm48000, S5,C1: Internal monitoring of faults has identified suspect hardware, blade may need to be reset or replaced: fault1:0x2be6c, faul

 

2014/08/06-00:03:31, [CDR-1008], 1621672, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, WARNING, SilkWorm48000, S5,C1: HW ASIC Chip warning Level 1 type = 0x33.

 

2014/08/06-17:18:31, [CDR-1010], 1621678, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, SilkWorm48000, S5,C1: Internal monitoring of faults
has identified suspect hardware, blade may need to be reset or replaced: fault1:0x2bee6, faul

 

2014/08/06-17:18:31, [CDR-1008], 1621679, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, WARNING, SilkWorm48000, S5,C1: HW ASIC Chip warning Level 1 type = 0x33.

 

2014/08/06-17:23:31, [CDR-1007], 1621680, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, WARNING, SilkWorm48000, S5,C1: Internal link errors have been reported, no hardware faults identified, continuing to monitor for errors: flt1:0x2bee8, flt

 

2014/08/06-23:58:31, [CDR-1010], 1621681, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, SilkWorm48000, S5,C1: Internal monitoring of faults has identified suspect hardware, blade may need to be reset or replaced: fault1:0x2bf56, faul

 

2014/08/06-23:58:31, [CDR-1008], 1621682, SLOT 6 | CHASSIS, WARNING, SilkWorm48000, S5,C1: HW ASIC Chip warning Level 1 type = 0x33.

Hi,

 

it seems that Standby CP in slot 5 is reporting errors in the connectivity between ASIC 1 and some of the port blades. You could use command 'errdumpall' (root access required) in order to get more info.

 

Depeding on the severity of the error, you should open a case with the vendor of the switch or you could enable bottleneckmon or powercycle the CP...
