WAN testing using tperf

Hi Experts,

 

I need to do a WAN testing using tperf on FX8/24 fcip setup

Could someone please validate it and let me know if I am followign right steps as give below?

(Stpe 4 is for site B and Step 5 is for site A)

 

Steps

 

1> Enable tperf option on tunnel
2> Verify that the tperf flag is enabled
3> Verify VE port is down
4> set a switch as a tperf target
5> Set a switch as a tperf source sending random data for every 15 secs for 5 minutes duration
6> Disable tperf option on tunnel
7> Verify that the tperf flag is enabled
8> Verify VE port is up

 

Site B
1> portcfg fciptunnel 7/22 modify --remote-ip 192.168.1.151 --local-ip 192.167.1.151 6000000 -T
2> portshow fciptunnel -c
3> switchshow | grep 22
4> portcmd --tperf 7/22 --sink
5>
6> portcfg fciptunnel 7/22 modify --remote-ip 192.168.1.151 --local-ip 192.167.1.151 6000000 -T 0
7> portshow fciptunnel -c
8> switchshow | grep 22

 

Site A
1> portcfg fciptunnel 7/22 modify --remote-ip 192.167.1.151 --local-ip 192.168.1.151 6000000 -T
2> portshow fciptunnel -c
3> switchshow | grep 22
4>
5> portcmd --tperf 7/22 -source -pattern 4 -interval 15 -time 300
6> portcfg fciptunnel 7/22 modify --remote-ip 192.167.1.151 --local-ip 192.168.1.151 6000000 -T 0
7> portshow fciptunnel -c
8> switchshow | grep 22
