Vulnerability

Hi,

 

Vulnerability----Default or Guessable SNMP community names: OrigEquipMfr,

                        Default or Guessable SNMP community names: private

 

 Recommended Solution---change or remove default credentials and implement a more secure SNMP community string

 

How can I implemented more secure SNMP community string and remove default credentials?

 

 

SAN_SWITCH_1:root> snmpconfig --show snmpv1

SNMPv1 community and trap recipient configuration:
Community 1: ambd (rw)
Trap recipient: 10.x.x.x
Trap port: 161
Trap recipient Severity level: 0
Community 2: ambd (rw)
Trap recipient: 10.x.x.x
Trap port: 162
Trap recipient Severity level: 0
Community 3: private (rw)
No trap recipient configured yet
Community 4: public (ro)
No trap recipient configured yet
Community 5: common (ro)
No trap recipient configured yet
Community 6: FibreChannel (ro)
No trap recipient configured yet
