The ports must be connected to the same Fibre Channel SAN ?

Hi I'm newbe about SAN Swtich,

I read a IBM guide to install SAN Switch and they mentioned Fibre channel much be the same Fibre Channel SAN.

(According to IBM Guide It must be met)

Now our two SAN switches are connected with SAN storage and a Zone is configured two SAN storage WWNs but both are connected  with Controller A Channel 1 + Controller B Channel 2 and Controller A Channel 2 + Controller B Channel 1 (It isn't enabled yet after connection change)

If I enable the configuration as above configuration, It will be problem? or It will work?

That doesn't sound right...

What you want is a what I call a cross fabric setup.

Storage Processor A should be connected to both Fabric 1 and Fabric 2.

Storage Processor B should also be connected to both Fabric 1 and Fabric 2.

Hosts should be connected to both Fabric 1 and Fabric 2.

This is the bare minimum needed in order to setup redundancy.
