TRYING to Give Brocade our Money ! ( Support Contract ).

Apologies for inappropiate 'forum' location.

 

We have been working with CDW for about 2 months now to Purchase a Support contract on 2 Brocade 300's.

 

The Internal email 'Contracts@.' ( sorry forgot exact name ). - they have not been helpful.

 

CDW has not heard anything from their requests to buy a Service Contract From Brocade.

 

Any other Companys that provide Brocade support that someone could recommend ?

 

i have called the main support #.. and the only thing they can give me the the Email of the contract department.

They DONT have a telephone. ( convienient )

 

To say were Incredibly Frustrated is an Understatement.

feew additional info to Jason post.

 

Brocade 300 are EOL / EOS = End of Life  and End of Service

 

if those switch are not under maintenance, is a bit difficult to purchase a support contract for EOL / EOS Item, but you should be able to get support from brocade as PAYG

Thanks Antonio !.. Odd though. We just received a Quote from CDW on a new Brocade 300. If its EOS I would think they could not / should not sell it. Perhaps They made a mistake.. I will ping them on it.

AFAIK, Brocade 300 is at 99,999% End of Sales ! and for End of Sales Products cannot be longer purchase maintenannce Contract.

 

why you want to purchase such old Brocade 300 instead newest model such as 6505 or G610 ?
