Switch Principal question

Hello guys,

 

Can you help me?, I need one switch be Principal Switch.

 

the command

 

fabricprincipal -1 is the solution? or is fabricprincipal -f ? this command are disruptive process? because the plataform is productive.

Hi Rocaflu,

 

to make a specific switch "the" principal switch, use the command "fabricprincipal -f 1":

 

-f 1

 

Sets the principal switch selection mode. Specify 1 to enable principal switch selection
mode. Specify 0 to disable principal switch selection mode. Optionally, use the -f operand
to force a fabric rebuild. Mode changes take effect when the fabric rebuilds. This operand is
optional.

 

A fabric build (BF) which is started by the "-f" is not disruptive. It is a selection process.
