SAN topology change

Hello,

We have, I would say strange SAN topology, switches are connect in cascade (because of some historical reasons), SW1→SW2→SW3→SW4→SW5.....

Now we would like to connect it to ring, in order to have better redundacy. What do you think about that ? Will it be work ?

Regards,

Re: SAN topology change

How many switches in this fabric? Is there a paired fabric (Dual fabric)?

it is not clear to what you mean with "connect to ring"
