I have only limited experience with Brocade fibre switches but we are looking to buy a couple of 6730 switches.
I dont have one to play with yet or to look at the configurations so I am asking here :)
Currently we use for our network backbone Cisco 3750s that do all our network routing and switching
We have a netapp and use silkworm 200Es to attach servers to it.
We are adding a nutanix box and a couple of 6730s. Any servers attached to the netapp will be virtualized and we wont need the silkworms anymore.
Does it make sense to retire the Ciscos and use the Brocade 6730s for traditional network switching/routing in addition to providing 10Gb networking for the nutanix?
Sorry if this is a noob question but.. it is a noob question :)
