Port usage report

Does anyone have a quick and dirty way to create a report on what ports are being used and the names of the hosts on those ports?

Re: Port usage report

The easiest way is by using a zone naming convention that will give you a clue. For example: host_domid_port# (sysa_d1_p13)Other than that a custom database solution or manual excel spreadsheet works too.

Re: Port usage report

I use the "nsaliasshow" command. I have a script that telnets to each of the switches and performs a "nsaliasshow" this provides me with the domain port and alias for each port on each switch.
