PID binding

We have an IBM branded 2498-B24 SAN switch where I enabled the automatic PID assignment.  My question is if pull the fiber connection and remove the WWN zone does the WWN stay in the WWNaddress --bind?  We are having connection issues and want the PID assignment to stay.  I don't want to touch any settings on the AIX host.

you have to delete alias and enable config after deleting zones. Before that delete the LUNs, which are published to HBAs and very off it on AIX OS .Then unmap the LUNs from storage controllers. Then delete the zones, remove it from effective config and delete the aliases also.Ther will be no binding. Then you may have to run cfgmgr on server , may be...
