IBM Bladecenter HS22 FC module factory reset

Running a Brocade FC module (32R1818) on a IBM Bladecenter HS22 which locked out all access (http / SSH / telnet).

Considering doing a factory reset from the AMM but wanted to check if the licenses would still be intact or would it need to be reapplied?

Thanks!

@tj1337

most probable you have create rule/policy with ipfilter command ?

I'm not sure how Facory Reset trough AMM work and I'm not sure if a Reset via AMM delete such policy, but the license should no be affected.

Re: IBM Bladecenter HS22 FC module factory reset

Hi Antonio,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately i've been locked out of all access because of the ipfilter rule, so i'm unable to SSH, web or telnet in to change the ipfilter settings. To top that off because it's a chassis module there isn't a direct console access to it.

Tried via the chassis console to get to the Brocade FC module but no luck with that either.

Thus my thought on doing a factory reset since it's a running as a passthrough i shouldn't need to redo any zonning.

Thanks,

TJ
