ISLs as much as ports are free.
But as Tech-Help has written at max 8 ISLs in a single trunkon 4 and 8 Gbit products.
On two gbit products only four ISL in trunk group.

Thank you for your replies.
But, I thought there is a limitation of ISL creation.
Let me make sure about this. Please understand I'm still learning about Brocade SAN products.
Following Brocade 8Gbps SAN switch's date sheet,
'Scalability' is full fabric architecture with 239 swiches maximum
'Cerrtified maximum' is Brocade FOS fabric : 56 domains, 19 hops.
How should I understand about this?

1 > means a fabric can consist of a maximum off 239 switches.
2 > means 56 domain id's (thus switches) with a maximum off 19 hops is certified out off the box. A hop can be explained as travel trough an ISL to another switch.
But the sheet also states that Larger fabrics certifed as required; consult Brocade or OEM SAN design documents for confguration details.
Meaning if you wish to build a fabric with more than 56 switches and or more than 19 hops, consult your vendor/Brocade to get your solution certified.
