We have 2 brocade 4020 having FOS v6.1.1d and 1 brocade 48k having FOS v6.1.0c on the same fabric. We need to upgrade the firmware to the latest 6.3.0c. I see that 4020 blade cannot be upgraded to 6.3.0c. What is the latest firmware releases for both of these switches. What firmwares should i upgrade these switches to?

From 6.0 you can go 1 step ahead like 6.0.0/1/2 to 6.1.0/1/2 like this, which ever the latest
pls find attached release notes of 6.3.0

you are on the best way to destroy the 4020 ! ! !
the statement from hemant.kumar is incorrect, 4020 is not supported by 6.3.1 or any 6.3.x
Note that FOS v6.3 does NOT support the following platforms and cannot be loaded on them, though these
switches may participate in the same fabric as other switches using FOS v6.3:
• Brocade 200E
• All 4G embedded switches, including the 4012, 4016, 4018, 4020, 4024, 4424
Please refer to the Supported Products and FOS Interoperability table for the versions of FOS code that must
be used on these platforms to interoperate with FOS v6.3. The above noted 4G platforms will continue to be
supported by FOS v6.2.x.
4020 is supported only by 6.2. FOS 6.2.2b is the current available Rel.
--->>> What is the latest FOS release for 48000?.6.3.1
Correct is, 6.3.1a is the current as GA available, 6.4.0 will be announced next Week, support the 48000 and interoperate with 6.2.x
Upgrade Procedure between the Release is descripted in the Release Notes.
