Enabling Virtual Fabric Capability

Due to an hardware failure I have installed a new switch B5300 and have reloaded the configuration(included the zoning) of the failure one on the new one

I have no see that the new one has VIRTUAL FABRIC disabled.

I need now to enable VIRTUAL FABRIC and I want to know what are the impact of doing that on my existing zoning configuration?

Is it move to the default 128 Fabric ID or is it lost ?

Many thanks for your help.

Best regards

Re: Enabling Virtual Fabric Capability

All the zoning configuration and ports will move to the FID 128 by default.

Keep in mind that enabling VF is disruptive and requires a reboot.
