We used to have EFCM for Call Home and Brocade is accepting the calls from EFCM( EFCM is out off support) , we recently upgraded all our switches to FOS 6.4.3d , in EFCM all switches operational status went to Uknown status , because of unkown status call home is not sending mails if any failure occurs in switch. Can you please guide me how to resolve this issue , how to make EFCM switch status opearational.
I downgraded the test switch and verified in EFCM . it is wokring well and doing call home for any failure. We dont have any other option to configure Call home.
These switches going to be EOSL in Dec-2015 so we are not ready to invest money in buying the software for 8 months.
Can you please suggest us the solution for call home , like email etc..

How to make EFCM switch status opearational?
Possible only with lower level FOS version.
NOTE: EFCM not supported for management of switches operating with management of switches operating with FOS v6.3 and later firmware versions.
Can you please suggest us the solution for call home , like email etc.. ?
For email alerts :
- Enable fabric watch feature.
- Use fwmailcfg command which enable email alerts.
1 : Show Mail Configuration Information
2 : Disable Email Alert
3 : Enable Email Alert
4 : Send Test Mail
5 : Set Recipient Mail Address for Email Alert
6 : Relay Host IP Configuration
7 : Quit
