Does it exist a process to analyze a supportsave ?

Hi

It's about a Fabric using 2 Brocade switch 5100s on FOS 6.3 .

We should reboot both switches to make storage visible to the DB servers.

Issue :

Fabrics stopped allowing traffic after a cfgsave/cfgenable.  The only changes during the saves were removing zones for an unused host

We had to reboot the fabric switches one at a time to get the fabric back and allow the traffic again.

I downloaded a supportsave from both switches and had like to know where should I looking for analyzing this issue.

Regards

supportsave can be analyzed only by brocade support, there is no tools available for End User.

I would suggest to run SAN-Health in order to get more details about you current config.

Well, actually supportsave contains a lot of human readable information in *.txt.gz files. But you have to know how to interpret that data anyway.

The issue looks like a difficult one, so you'd better open a support case.

I don't believe that running sanhealth will help you understand the root cause of problem.
