I am new to the site and have seen some hits referenced a question similiar to mine back in Jun 2011 that were answered by HBA-Dude. The answer given suggests that it is possible to utilize the brocade 415/425 drivers that are officially for RedHat and convert them to .deb format for Ubuntu, but I think that there would be a little more to this.
Is there any reason why Brocade specifically supports RedHat variants and not other distro of Linux? Would it not be possible to take the source code for the drivers and build them on an Ubunut platform?
