At entering additionally static routes this error message appears:
maximum number of static routes exceeded!
What can we do to resolve the probkem?

You have reached the number of maximum supported static route entries on the platform . You can try deleting any unused ones or have some of these routes learn dynamically using a routing protocol if possible .

Thx for your reply. I knew this. But there is a undocumented command to extend the maximum number of static routes. I could not find any information about it, but i know it's possible to change it. Our Brocade systems engineer told me this, but he is in vacation since a long time.
We use a FastIron SuperX-PREM. Thx!

Is this what you are looking for ?
For example, to increase the capacity of the IP route table, enter the following commands.
Brocade(config)#system-max ip-route 120000

That is the correct procedure. Though the command is not a hidden command. Please be aware that changing the values in the system-max command will almost in all cases require a reboot to take effect.
