I experienced an unexpected problem on DHCP installation. the #ip helper-address on ICX-6450 is not working properly.
The topology shows as follow
Host should have its ip from DHCP-server in another network, so i use #ip helper-address pointed to DHCP-server ip-address, but after sometime i figure out some of my host didnt get its ip. I use the latest image 0074c with router code.
I have try using another switch like CES-2024, ICX-6610 and FWS624G.
Using CES as relay, the networks is working and have no problem, but when i try using ICX or FWS, the problem appears again. I use wireshark to capture packet, and see that after host sending DHCP-discover packet, the packet is received on server, then server send the DHCP-offer packet. but host not receiving the offer packet, it seems the packet dropped or maybe rejected in ICX.
Have you guys ever find similar problem? it is like a bug in firmware.
Kindly please share your though and thank you in advance
