What does a sanity check error mean on FLS-648?

On two recent occasions I've seen the following errors on our Foundry FLS-648 device when updating ACLs:

Sanity check failed. A valid acl is not found after the hole at 366 of size 67 when it should on dev 1 (..\..\..\..\Common\switch\acldev_pp.c,4055).

Unbinding of IPACL from port 0/1/42 failed. (..\switch\Sw_l3_filter.c, 9644).

Sanity check failed. A valid acl is not found after the hole at 493 of size 47 when it should on dev 0 (..\..\..\..\Common\switch\acldev_pp.c, 4055).
Unbinding of IPACL from port 0/1/7 failed. (..\switch\Sw_l3_filter.c, 9644)

I'm not sure what the precise meaning of the error is, or what conditions have caused them to occur. Any help is greatly appreciated.
