Hi,

I have created the VLAN 1 & 2 in the FWS648G-POE switch. VLAN 1(default Vlan) ip is 192.168.1.1 and it's management VLAN. VLAN 2 is user VLAN the network is 192.168.10.1/24. Now i have connected the FCX624S switch with the up link and one system is connected in VLAN 2. The issue is i am not able to reach the VLAN 1 from system as well as from the switch. Below i have attached the configuration details for FCX and FWS switches. Please help me on this.

Re: VLAN Issue In FWS648G-POE

can you please confirm your end node has an ip address something like 192.168.10.x/24 and gateway 192.168.10.1.
if so you should be reaching FWS management ip from this node.
if not please confirm interface  48 is  up (state and line protocol) on fws and interface 24 is up (state and line protocol) on FCX.

if you also want to reach FCX's management ip from the same node you may need to issue below commands on fws.
conf t

default-vlan-id 4000
vlan 1

tag e 1/1/48

on fcx
conf t

default-vlan-id 4000
vlan 1
tag e 1/1/24

if you want vlan 1 to stay as default vlan

you need to issue below commands on fws

int e 1/1/48
dual-mode 1

on fcx
int e 1/1/24

dual-mode 1

hope this helps.

Thanks,
Serhat
