Upgrade BNA 12.4.1 to 12.4.3 or 14?

Is upgrading my BNA 12.4.1 to 12.4.3 or even 14 one of those updates I should spin up a new VM, make a clean install and move my data or can I just do it in place?  Either way, should I be upgrading to 14 or is 12.4.3 good enough (I've read about the issues with 12.4.4 and upgrading to 14).

Thanks.

I've tested last week a lot of Upgrade from diverse12.4.x Release to 14.0.1 and all work without any Issue, see below.

Thanks.  It looks like you advocate updating in place as opposed to a new VM with a clean install, is that right?  I'm sorry to be running this into the ground but I'm point person on this and I need to get it right.

@ctavernier

in this case 12.4.4 is a clean install this is correct, and then I've upgrade to 14.0.1.

I've tested several upgrade methode, import backup config, and have the same result, all work like a charm.

however there is no matter if the Upgrade to 14.0.1 is started from a clean or productive environments, my example simple demonstrate that the Upgrade work correct.

If you have any doubt with the Upgarde then you shold open a TAC with Brocade or you OEM before begin with.
