Radius RFC's 3575 3576 and 5176 are the supported in switches

Hi people,

I'm wondering if anyone is able to give me a firm answer as to whether the ICX and FCX range of switches would support Change of Authorization requests as described under these RFC's ?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated

Re: Radius RFC's 3575 3576 and 5176 are the supported in switches

Hi Kylie,

The datasheets do not list those RFC's as supported and a quick look at the 7.4.0 config guide for ICX (and FCX) state the below note (page 158).

NOTE

After RADIUS authentication takes place, the command list resides on the Brocade device. The RADIUS server is not consulted again once the user has been authenticated. This means that any changes made to the user command list on the RADIUS server are not reflected until the next time the user is authenticated by the RADIUS server, and the new command list is sent to the Brocade device.

So the answer is no CoA is not supported.

Thanks

Michael.
