On our network we implement port security on some of our customer facing ports, each port is allowed to learn a single MAC address.
Recently we have had a couple of port violations where the offending MAC address is actually located on our network not the customers?!
As far as I am aware port security should only disable a port if an additional MAC is seen being advertised to the port.
Any ideas what could cause this sceanario?
