We have a network with 3 physical fiber rings with a common 2 ICX 6610 Stack. The rest of ring nodes are FCX 624S
On one of this rings we're having problems.
We've defined two topology group, with two Master vlan with the layer 2 layout. One is for VLAN which only need to be on this physical fiber, and the other for some vlan which need to be on several physical rings.
The master vlans define metro-rings for redundancy control. We use MRP for ths purpose.
The problem starts when some link on the rings is broken. After the convergence moment, we start to lose packet. Only a few packets but enough to degrade the service.
When the ring is closed again the packet are received without problem.
I tried one by one disabling and enabling the ring nodes interfaces and in some nodes/interfaces the packet lost where in a topology group and on other nodes/interfaces the problems were on the other topology group.
Does anybody have idea what can it be the problem?
Thanks in advance.
