I am new to Brocade and some what new to MPLS. Any help would be appreciated. We get SNMP messages form our monitoring software indicating that a MPLS VLL has gone down. When I do a sho log on the MLX this what is in the log for MPLS:
Sep 12 10:55:53:N:MPLS: VLL VTL-Repl Peer 207.xxx.xxx.xxx (VC ID 161) is up
Sep 12 10:55:41:N:MPLS: VLL VTL-Repl Peer 207.xxx.xxx.xxx (VC ID 161) is down
Sep 12 10:54:59:N:MPLS: VLL VTL-Repl Peer 207.xxx.xxx.xxx (VC ID 161) is up
Sep 12 10:54:53:N:MPLS: VLL VTL-Repl Peer 207.xxx.xxx.xxx (VC ID 161) is down
Checking the int that the VLL is associated with shows no errors and it did not go down. The peer MLX on the far end has the same entries in the log. Any ideas as to what would cause this VLL to intermittently go down?

Hi Steve,
This should not happen, suggest you contact the TAC if under support. If not then what version of code are you running? (show version please).
Thanks
Michael.

Hi Steve,
Had a look through the release notes for 5.3.00f (the latest for 5.3.0 code base) fixes (for both e and f) and see not see any fixes based on flapping VLL's.
Have a look at "sh mpls vll detail" and see that provies any for info on as to why.
Thanks
Michael.

No it did not. The box in question was purchased by another agency with support. I am trying to get into my profile so I can open a support ticket. Again, thank you for your help.
