MPLS and LAG with Cisco

We're in the process of turning up two new XMRs. We'll be configuring MPLS between the two, however there will be a layer-2 cisco network in the middle. I noticed in the documentation (chapter 38) that is says:

Configuration Considerations for enabling MPLS on a LAG interface

     ....

Switch and LACP LAGs are not supported

Does this mean that between our XMR and our Cisco 3750s that we cannot use LACP, if we intend to configure MPLS? If so, which LAG mode should we use? PAgP?

Thanks!
