MLXE-16-M-AC? What Exactly Have I bought here?!

Good afternoon all,

I recently purchased a Brocade Product at an auction house in London England and I think I got a rush of blood to the head as I haven't the first clue what I've bought and I spent more that I should have.

It was listed as a ' NEW & BOXED Supporting Brocade MLXE-16 Enclosure - MODEL: MLXE-16-M-AC'.

I pick it up next week and attached is a nice picture of a box.

For 10 points, name that product!

Just got an email from a company that trades in Brocade routers who said it looks like an MLXE router, complete with management and power, and that he'd offer $500 for it. Does that sound about right?

Re: MLXE-16-M-AC? What Exactly Have I bought here?!

Hi Everyone,

I've had two people who have told me they believe this to be an NI-MLXE-MR2-M-AC, one offered $500 and one offered $3,500.

Understand that I bought this at a local auction site on the basis that when I googled the model number I saw prices that made my jaw drop.

I'm relying on the kindness of strangers but could anyone tell me if I'm being low balled? I was also told by one company that there isn't much demand for this product.

Am I missing something, why when I google this model do I see tens of thousands of dollars being charged?
