ICX 6450 Packet drop

Hi

When i connect a WAN int to  Icx 6450 48p switch i get a loss of 2%.

Please let me know how i can minimize this loss of packets.

Syed,

Not sure why you're encountering this issue, because ideally there should be '0 packet loss' in this connectivity. The best bet here would be to open a case with TAC.

     How are you seeing the 2% less?  Is anything showing up from a show stat eth x/x/x command?

Hi Micheal,

No there are no packet drops in the statistics.

When i the traffic that comes from the servers is stopped then there is no packet drop in the WAN link. As soon as traffic that  passes from the servers is allowed there seems to be packet drops in the WAN link.

FYI the WAN link was upgraded from 90 Mbps to 140 Mbps.
