How to check Failover Capability for ADX 1000 Load balancers

Hi guys, Currently we are having 2 load balancers (Master & Slave) which are configured with high availability configurations

(configure sync-terminal) wanted to check if there is any  way where we can administratively control Master load balancer

to become unavailable for sometime & see if the Slave load balancer automatically takes over & acts as Master.

Please note that this feature will first be tested in LAB Load balancers & then checked on production just to make sure there is no break down.

Thanks & Regards.

Hi,

I am assuming you are using Hot-Standby and you should have configured the uplink ports via "server router-ports" command.

Then you just have to disable on uplink port on one ADX.

or

jsut reload the master.
