Will replacing the card solve this problem, or is this a chassis issue?
I have a SX-FI424F 24-port Gig Fiber card in a SuperX that is exhibiting strange behavior. Here is what happens...
sh stat brief eth 2/2 on the SuperX shows in/out packets and in/out errors... packets are as expected and errors in and out are zero
On a 6450 connect via multi mode about 6 feet away to the SuperX SX-FI424F port 2
sh stat brief eth 1/2/1 packets in/out zero output errors and 50,000 input errors.
The SuperX thinks out bound packets are good, bu when they arrive errors. This occurs on every port on the SX-FI424F.
Single mode, multi mode it does not matter, same results. New optics, new patch cables. I am convinced I have a bad slot or SX-FI424F 24-port Gig Fiber card.
Has anyone observed this behavior ? Also I configured 4 copper ports on the management card and they do not exhibit this behavior.

Thank you for your time,
