FWS648G - Layer 2 or Layer 3?

Hi everyone,

I have a couple FWS648G switches and I'm trying to determine if they are Layer 2 or Layer 3 switches.  Below is the output from show version.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: FWS648G - Layer 2 or Layer 3?

Hi,

The short answer is you are running switch code.  If you do a "show flash" you should see the routing code in the secondary flash area.

If you need/want to run layer 3 code then please see http://community.brocade.com/docs/DOC-1842 for more infomration.

Thanks

Michael.
