Issues connecting ports 1/2/1 and 1/2/2 to a Ti24x ; They link however no full bi-directional traffic.
Ports 1/2/3 and 1/2/4 work as expected. This is a non-stacking FCX switch. I'm curious if this is a bug or similar?
I had ports 1/2/1 and 1/2/2 before connected to a RX-8 and had no issues when I went to migrate those ports to a Ti24x had issues with regards to bidirectional traffic.. It almost seems as if this is a problem between the FCX and the Ti24x ; FDP neighbor information was seen only in 1 direction not both directions; Never any input on the Ti24x side from the remote switch(FCX648. Has anyone ever ran across this issue or does anyone have equipment to test with?

For FCX-E and FCX-I devices, ports 1 and 2 of the optional 10 Gbps SFP+ module (slot 2) act as the default stacking ports. You should turn off stacking to use these ports for data.

I'll try this. The weird part is that I had ports 1/2/1 and 1/2/2 working with the same configuration to a RX-8, it was just when moving it to a Ti24x did I encounter the problem... I'll update once again when tested with the long-preamble setting on the ports 1/2/1 and 1/2/2 towards a Ti24x. Thanks again!
