FCX Question - Does enabling stacking + adding a second switch reboot the original switch?

As stated in the question....

Will connecting a second switch via stacking cables and enabling stacking on the original switch result in any sort of outage on the original switch? I know the second switch will reboot when adding itself to the stack, but I'm not sure if the original will.

The answer to this will determine how soon I'm able to do the work.

Thanks.

Re: FCX Question - Does enabling stacking + adding a second switch reboot the original switch?

So, it doesn't reboot the primary, but it seems like connecting the stack cables seems to create a loop until the stack is created via the "stack secure-setup" command.

The switch did not reboot, but the port states on the switch were fluctuating and the connected access points were down until I configured the stack.
