ESXi 5.0 nic teaming issue

I am having an issue where I am trying to enable nic teaming on my ESXi 5.0 hosts. When configuring the trunk and then running trunk deploy I am losing connectivity to my host. To get connectivity back I have to remove the trunk. I have the following configuration:

2 x ICX-6610 Layer  2 switches configured in a stack

3 x ESXi 5.0 hosts configured as a cluster ( I am only trying to configure the nic team on 1 host for now)

I am using a standard vSwitch configured with "Load balance: Route based on IP hash"

I have 4 Ethernet connections to each host.

I ran the following commands to set up the trunk

trunk e 1/1/23 to 1/1/24 e 2/1/23 to 2/1/24

trunk deploy

Attached below is a copy of my config before setting up the trunk.

Re: ESXi 5.0 nic teaming issue

Well I managed to figure out the issue. My vm portgroup set up on the vswitch was not inheriting my load balance policy. Once i got that fixed the trunk functioned correctly to my vlan.
