Does Version SW:07.2.01aT7e1 support 802.1x with multiple devices authenticating on a single port

[ Edited ]

We are having issue authenticating PC and VOIP phones over a single port using a Cisco ACS server for 802.1x Authentication.

Switch info.

 FGS624P-POE

SW: Version 07.2.01aT7e1

interface Ethernet 0/1/3
 dot1x port-control auto
 dual-mode  888
 inline power
 voice-vlan 102

the PC will authenticate and once the phone authenticates the PC loose connection.  the log

0/1/3  2cf4.c54d.3333 :2CF4C54D3333    102  permit  none  S12   AUTHENTICATED _____Phone
0/1/3  2892.4a26.4444 :N/A             102  init    none  S59   CONNECTING-----------PC

both devices work by themselves on the port.

This works fine on our Cisco switches.

Hi,

By default Brocade enable strick enforcement of Dot802.1X - however you canenable multi device auth, please see section "Authenticating multiple hosts connected to the same port" from the config guide (Chapter 42).

Thanks

Michael.
