Combination copper and SFP ports - which is active?

I have A CER 2024C with 24-1Gb copper that has 4 combination SFP ports. I assume the SFP ports are shared between the first 4 copper ports. How does the switch determine which one is active?
I am using copper port 1, but have an SFP plugged into SFP port 1 (no patch cable yet). I'd like to switch to the SFP tomorrow for an ISP cutover, using same config that is on the copper port 1 (ISP is giving me faster circuit, same config and IPs). How would I make the switch?
I assume that I would disconnect the copper Ethernet cable from copper port 1 and connect the fiber to the SFP port 1.

Any advise or info would be much appreciated!

You got it, unplug the copper and plug in the fiber interface

He he, yeah I figured this one out before reading your reply. It's funny how if you haven't tried it before, you wouldn't know, and there is no mention anywhere in the manual or online. At least, not that I could find.

Thanks
