Change vlan's netmask on a Super X

Hello,

I would like to change an existing vlan's netmask from 255.255.254.0 to 255.255.248.0.  What are the steps/syntax?

Thanks.

Re: Change vlan's netmask on a Super X

You should just be able to simply do something like the following:

Let's say you are using vlan 10.  You would have:

vlan 10 by port

untagged eth 1

router-interface ve 1

inteface ve 1

ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.248.0

So basically just update the mask under the ve interface attached to the appropriate vlan.

Hope this helps!
