Can I assign two ports from different modules to one trunk

Hi all

I am new to brocade world and I have a question about BigIron RX-16 and FastIron SX 1600 trunk.

Is it a best practise and will this be a problem if I create trunk including ports from different modules on SX 1600 ?

For example trunk ethe 1/1 to 1/2 ethe 3/1 to 3/2 .

I am asking becuse I have strange conectivity problems with that configuration and Windows sharing when VLAN have to pass between these two.

Yes they are 10 G on both ends.

Generally there are no issues with trunking across different modules and stack members (whyen in a stacked environment), we do it quite often for increased HA within our designs.

 

Can you tell me:

 

What code are you running on your RX and SX?

 

What type of link-aggregate have you created? static or lacp?

 

What does the show lag command produce?
