Re: Brocade switches and Cisco 2960

HI,

Please try it on cisco

interface faceetherent 0/47

switchport  mode trunk

switchport nonegiated

switchport trunk allowed vlan 26

interface faceetherent 0/47

switchport  mode access

switchport access vlan 28

no sh

if you connected it on brocade switch then

interface ethernet 1/0/47
dual-mode 28

vlan 28

tagged eth 1/0/47

vlan 26

tagged eth 1/0/47

abdullah,

Brocade University is a Certification Forum.

I moved you thread to appropriate Forum, additional a would suggest to specified the Brocade Switch Type.

Re: Brocade switches and Cisco 2960

For the Brocade switch you simply want to tag both vlans to one port to make it a "trunk" like you did with Cisco switch.

conf t

vlan 26

tag eth 1/1/48

vlan 28

tag eth 1/1/48

This assumes you have already created vlan 26 & 28 on your Brocade switch and that you are using port 48.
