Brocade switches and Cisco 2960

dear all:

 

i have access point and wirelress controller and brocade switchs. in trunk port i added all vlan (28,26)

becouse the access point will take from managment vlan 28 and internet vlan 26

 

in cisco switchs i configure the port 

28 managment vlan 

26 internet vlan 

 

interface faceetherent 0/47

switchport  mode trunk 

switchport nonegiated 

switchport trunk allowed vlan 28,26

switchport trunk native vlan 26

 

please correct me if i am wrong i tried alot but the access point now working

or give me the solution .

Please try it on cisco 

 

interface faceetherent 0/47

switchport  mode trunk 

switchport nonegiated 

switchport trunk allowed vlan 26

 

interface faceetherent 0/47

switchport  mode access

switchport access vlan 28

no sh

 

if you connected it on brocade switch then 

 

interface ethernet 1/0/47
dual-mode 28

vlan 28

tagged eth 1/0/47

vlan 26

tagged eth 1/0/47

I moved you thread to appropriate Forum, additional a would suggest to specified the Brocade Switch Type.

For the Brocade switch you simply want to tag both vlans to one port to make it a "trunk" like you did with Cisco switch.

 

conf t

vlan 26

tag eth 1/1/48

vlan 28

tag eth 1/1/48

 

This assumes you have already created vlan 26 & 28 on your Brocade switch and that you are using port 48.
