unsupported pfc policy

Hi,

I'm running FOS 6.3.0.  When I try to assign a priority to a priority group I get an error.  I'm just following the cookbook method layed out in the Converged Enhanced Ethrenet Admistrator's Guide 53-1001346-01.

MP_8000B(config)#cee-map test
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#priority-group-table 0 weight 50 pfc
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#priority-group-table 1 weight 50
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#priority-table 1 1 0 0 1 1 1 1
% Error: Unsupported PFC policy for PGID 0
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#

Anyone can offer me a hint?

Thanks,

Tim Nguyen

Re: unsupported pfc policy

You need first to enable the priority-group-table

see this threads, for Command Reference Manuals and Admin Guide

Re: unsupported pfc policy

Sorry, but what do you mean by "enable the priority-group-table"?  What more do I have to do than this:

MP_8000B(config)#cee-map test
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#priority-group-table 0 weight 50 pfc
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#priority-group-table 1 weight 50
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#priority-table 1 1 0 0 1 1 1 1

% Error: Unsupported PFC policy for PGID 0
MP_8000B(conf-ceemap)#

By the way, to get here, I first did a write erase, rebooted and was following the "recipe" found in the "Minimum CEE configuration to allow FCoE traffic flow" section of the Converged Enhanced Ethernet Administrator’s Guide (document 53-1001346-01, page 35).

Thanks,

Tim
