Re: Port-Channel From Nexus 5000 to VDX-6740

Hi,

Can you please describe the interconnectivity or provide a simple diagram

I also note that you have not added any VLAN to the port-channel on the VDX switches, for instance:

interface Port-channel 10
 vlag ignore-split
description port channel 10 connection to nexus 5020
 switchport
 switchport mode trunk

switchport trunk allowed vlan add 10,50,55,70,90,500

Could you also provide the following output

show port-channel detail

Thanks

Mick

We are also using Cisco Twinax to connect, not sure if that causes issues or not........

Hi,

There are certainly lots of limitation when using Twinax cables to connect to VDX, see the support matrix

https://www.brocade.com/content/dam/common/documents/content-types/product-matrix/brocade-vdx-sfp-transceivers-support-mx.pdf

Particularly when it comes to passive twinax

Are the physical interfaces up?

Are the transceivers being correctly recognised and functioning

Hi,

Looks like your problem is almost certainly the twinax cables
