New Microsoft HyperV Blue Print - VDX with VCS Technology

I wanted to alert you to a new resource we recently added.  It's a technical brief jointly authored by Microsoft and Brocade.  It addresses deploying Microsoft's HyperV virtualization technology, available in Windows Server 2008, R2 with Brocade's VDX 6720 family of switches with VCS technology.

You can find the document here:

http://www.brocade.com/products/all/switches/product-details/vdx-6720-dc-switches/index.page

It highlights the hypervisor agnostic quality of the VCS Ethernet fabric and showcases using Automated Migration of Port Profiles, AMPP with HyperV.

Re: New Microsoft HyperV Blue Print - VDX with VCS Technology

Hello Brook,

Has there been any advancements made regarding the integration of Hyper-V with the VDX fabric technologie since then ?

According to our SE, it's been put on standby... Still, we are very interested.

Best regards.

Re: New Microsoft HyperV Blue Print - VDX with VCS Technology

Hello,

Yes, I would interested in hearing news about this subject.

We have been hammering our local SE for a native support of VDX ethernet fabric client with HyperV for two years now, we have been told that things have been in standby with Microsoft.

Maybe someone @Brocade HQ could share an update ?

Best regards.
