How to Monitor FCoE port traffic on BROCADE 8000?

I would like to monitor the FCoE traffic on a particular port. Is there any option brocade provides so that the traffic on that port is being reflected on another port?  so that i can take a wireshark trace.

Thanks,

See in Brocade FC there is portperfshow command , also given in interval time it will reflect the BW .

Could you try the same in 8000 SW.

SWITCH1:user> portperfshow 5----------------( interval of 5 sec)

I am writing it as nobody has answered this. Sorry

Re: How to Monitor port traffic on BROCADE 8000?

Hi Hemant,

Thanks for the reply, the portperfshow shows the port's performance. I want to see the actual LLDP/FIP happening so that i can capture the FLOGI/PLOGI/LLDP packets and check for their integrity i.e whether they actually follow the FC_BB5 standard.

If the brocade provides anything on the lines of "Port Mirroring"/ "Monitor Session" then that would be really helpful.

Thanks,
