Basically if I configure a port for fcoe with the fcoeport cmd it disappears from all VLANs instead of showing up in VLAN1002 as it should.

Thanks,

Theo

Re: Brocade 8000 port disappears after running fcoeport

theo,

the output show correct.

can you upload here the entire config file - or send me by email - abongiorno_at_techhelp24_dot_net

I'll try to upload in a 8000 on my LAB.

however i can do that next week Jan. 23/24 because I'm at the moment out of Country.

Re: Brocade 8000 port disappears after running fcoeport

Hi,

Thanks for looking into this. However, I'm not sure why you'd think that the output shows correct when port 0/15, the port I'm trying to configure, totally disappears. At first it shows in the default vlan, as it should, then it totaly disappears after I configure it. From my understanding after configuring a port for FCoE it should show up in vlan 1002. I have a second Brocade 8000 with the same FW that does exactly that.

Sorry, I'm not sure how to extract the entire config file.

Thanks,

Theo Drackett
