Brocade 1020 CNA



I have two CNA-1020 cards. I would like to know if I can connect the two cards together and make them communicate directly with each other without using a Brocade switch. The cards will be installed on a Dell server. Thanks for your help in advance!

I don't think you can connect both HBA Point-to-Point without a Switch.


you can try to do, without any kind of warranty, but instead to use Optical Transceiver ( SFP ), use Copper Cable and Built-In SFP.

Should I use Brocade Copper Cable and Built-In SFP? Will other brands like CISCO work?


Because I tried to connect with Cisco copper SFP+ and there was no uplink...
