FCC Meeting on E-Rate Reform

The FCC is holding an open commission meeting on July 19th.  One of the topics on the calendar is E-rate reform to ensure that every school has access to high speed broadband (per President Obama's proposal).

Lets hope that with this proposed reform comes changes to the classification of Priority 1 and 2 Services.  Many of these school systems can get access to high speed broadband already, but their internal infrastructure is so old having a big pipe outside the walls of the school is useless.

Here is a link to the Open Commission Meeting.
