Overview

This Test Engineer Journal documents test procedures and results for interoperability tests of Cisco Nexus 7000 Switches with NX-OS 6.x configured with the Cisco OSPF feature, and the Brocade VCS Fabric OSPF feature in Brocade Network OS (NOS) 3.x.  See the References below for the Validation Test report.

VDX switches can be deployed in a Brocade VCS Fabric. These tests include Cisco OSPF connected to a VCS Fabric via OSPF feature. OSPF is a common Layer 3 routing protocol used in data center networks between the Edge (VCS Fabric) and the Core (Cisco Nexus) by customers who want the efficiency of fewer network tiers in their datacenter.
